Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Some state privacy laws (including California’s CCPA/CPRA) give you the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information, and give residents of certain other states similar rights. Here’s how those rights apply to WeightCareMatch.

We do not sell personal information

WeightCareMatch does not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not sell or share the health-related answers you give in our quiz under any circumstances — see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for how those answers are handled (in short: they never leave your browser, so there is nothing to sell).

We do use a small set of non-health analytics events, and program-referral links that pay us a commission when you sign up — see our Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure. Some state laws define “sharing” broadly enough to potentially include analytics or advertising-attribution data (such as the marketing parameters recorded when you click a program link). To the extent any of that activity could be considered “sharing” under applicable law, you can opt out using the instructions below.

How to opt out

Email privacy@weightcarematch.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share” and include the browser and device you used to visit the site. We’ll confirm your request and stop any applicable data use going forward. Because we don’t require an account or login, we can’t attach this request to a persistent profile beyond your current browser session — future visits from a different browser or device would need a separate request.

Other rights

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Since we do not store your quiz answers at all, and we keep the optional email signup minimal (see our Privacy Policy), most requests will have very little for us to act on beyond that email record. No sale of minors’ data

WeightCareMatch is intended for adults 18 and older (see our Terms of Use) and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18.
